FUTURE VISION. To provide and support the implementation of turn-key track and field programming in communities across the Greater Philadelphia area (NJ/PA/DE), with dreams of national impact, to give lower income children better access to youth sports and caring role models. Developing community leaders to host their own leagues, teams, meets, and programs that follow our values and format. Thus growing the love for running and the sport of track and field in an inclusive and fun environment.
THE KEEP MOVIN METHOD.
Track Stars utilizes a programming model developed by Coach Chloe in a constant effort to create an Accessible, Fun, & Safe environment for athletic development. The programs utilize science based drills, games, and movements for each age group. The curriculum does not just teach track & field skills, but touches important life skills. From basic motor skills to teamwork and confidence, every aspect of your child's success is thought out. This unique curriculum has been implemented in teams across many organizations that Coach Chloe has touched. You and your child will feel the difference between your typical youth sports team and our organized track to success!
HISTORY. Track Stars started as Chloe Stanfield's senior project in 2018 when she was 15. She led 30 local kids through a summer of free track and field programming with the financial support of Healthy Step Pediatrics. That one summer led to the realization of something bigger missing in our community's youth sport offerings: accessibility. Chloe dedicated a year to building out a not for profit entity that could offer her favorite sport at a low cost to the community she grew up in. After 2019, 200 runners had signed-up for the biggest youth track & field program the area had seen. It wasn't always smooth sailing, but with the help of lots of high school volunteers, local sponsors, and supportive parents the first official season of track stars was in the books.
In 2020, COVID-19 affecting all youth sports, and Chloe heading to college in Pittsburgh, WBYA stepped in to help out. As the presenting sponsor and program activator WBYA supported 3 summer seasons of track and field in Downingtown from 2022-2024. Coach Chloe, now a college graduate, has plans to take Track Stars to another level. Hoping to create a bright future for the program and all that run with us. To support the mission and Chloe's 6 years of efforts, please consider volunteering your time or donating.
