MORE AGE GROUP INFO BELOW
All Track Stars will learn the basics of every track & field event, from shot-put to distance running. Depending on ages, programs will include around an hour of practice twice a week for two sessions a summer based on chapter school calendar.
The summer programs are split into two roughly 5 week sessions a summer. Each session ends with a track & field meet where athletes race, jump, and throw to show off their skills. Athletes can start as young as three years old and grow into our more structured programs. Ages are suggested, but groups are also based on ability and enjoyment.
MEETS. Track Stars home meets are inter-squad displays of hard work with hand-timed races. Future & Senior athletes compete against their own teammates in different events for personal record ribbons and team records. Tracksters & Junior Track Stars race in exciting events for participation ribbons. Competition athletes will have the chance to compete against other teams in non-AAU area meets with FAT in West Chester, Phoenixville, and Delaware County.
COACHING. All our coaches are trained and eager to teach athletes. We focus on having the best high school or college aged student athletes share their love for the sport. Assistant coaches are typically volunteer 9th or 10th grade students. 8th & 9th graders also join in as CITs. To learn more about coaching email cctrackstars@gmail.com or your chapter commissioner.
SKILLS. Athletes will learn age appropriate skills for success on and off the track. Our main goal is always fun, but we also want to develop young athletes for greatness! Track Stars can expect to out perform their peers in any sport, as they learn the importance of personal growth, dedication, and teamwork. On the track, parents watch in amazement as their young children blossom with body awareness and motor skills. Older track stars develop, endurance, strength, and speed through our inclusive workouts. By the end of each summer, your star will grow to new levels!
***This Club is not an elite competitive youth organization. If your athlete wants to compete in AAU or USATF sanction meets you may need to consider another program.***

HOW DO THEY COMPETE IN RACES?
Track Stars is a one of a kind recreational program. We do not compete in AAU or USATF Junior Olympic Development. Instead athletes compete in a unique format that is age appropriate and focuses on personal records over top placement. Tracksters & Junior athletes have a small chapter only Jr Track meet at the end of their session with ribbons for all athletes. Future & Senior athletes compete in a regional Track Festival with all chapters running, jumping and throwing together. Ribbons are awarded for all personal records and top 3 athletes in age groups. The competition team allows for more racing opportunities at local all-comers track and field meets.
ARE ALL ATHLETES WELCOME?
We support ALL Athletes! If your child has a disability or needs special support we are happy to accomodate as needed, please email your commisioner after registration to see how we can give them the best Summer ever!
