Athletes will report and check in with volunteers then have 1 hour to get their marks at the open pits

Long Jump will be separated by Boys & Girls pits

Field Event Rules

Long Jump

• 2 Jumps per Athlete, Best of 2

• No Board for U8 - U11 Athletes, Jump from Runway

• U13-U15 Use 4 Foot Board

• No Scratches/Fouls will result in another Jump

• Divisions U8, U9, U11, U13, U15

Shot Put 

• 2 Throws per Athlete, best of 2

• 6lb Shot U8 U9 Girls & Boys, U11 Girls & Boys, U13 Girls

• 4kg (8.8lb) Shot U13 Boys, U15 Girls & Boys

Division Rules 

Based on Age by Year End 12/31/2026

Under 8 - Born 2019 & 2018 - Turned 7 this Year - Turning 8 by year end

Under 9 - Born 2017 - Turning 9 by year end 

Under 11-  Born 2016 & 2015 - Turning 10 by year end - Turning 11 by year end

Under 13 - Born 2014 & 2013 - Turning 12 by year end - Turning 13 by year end

Under 15 - Born 2012 & 2011 - Turning 14 by Year end - Turning 15 by year end

U 8 & U 9, U13 & U15 may be combined for some events heats

Awards

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd Ribbons for all events by age division and gender

• PR Ribbons for all PRs / First Time Races

• Boys and Girls Awards Tables

• Please pick-up ribbons during the event when called, do not wait to pick-up till the end

Track Festival Champion

• 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 1 point

• Winning the Coaches Relay = 5 Points

Seeding

• Entries will be based on previous FAT times not HTs

• Athletes who race in a NT Seeded Race (meaning their first time) get a PR 

General Track Events Operations

Spikes can be worn, not required. No starting blocks. Athletes have unlimited call-backs for false starts. No DQ for lane violations. Events will go off with a on your marks—get set—gun.

• Athletes MUST wear bibs pinned to front 

• Check-in for each event is at the start line around 5 minutes before the event is scheduled to start.

• Athletes will be sitting in heats and lanes with Hip Stickers organized by Clerks.

• No Check in tables, All organized at Starting lines

• Heats & Start lists will be live and printed

Inclement Weather Policy

This is a rain or shine event. In the event of thunder or lightning we will operate on a delay. 30 Minutes per strike in an un-safe range. Limit only one 30 minute delay, otherwise result in cancellation. 

Community Entry 

• Non track stars session 2 mini league athletes - $10 Fun Run Sign-Up

400M Fun Run Rules

• Athletes MUST check in by 10:00AM at finish line/400m start and they will receive a hip number so we can time appropriately

• 400m is a waterfall start, no lanes, divided by heats based on age / amount of entries

• 400m Race is timed, all athletes receive a participation award at finish line

• 400m Top 3 boys and girls get ribbons at awards table

Duckling Dash 

• No timing, no lanes, no check-in/registration day-of

• Free for all Session 2 Tracksters, $10 registration fee for any siblings or non-team members

• Athletes should be on in-field with 1 parent chaperone at 10:00AM

4x100m Relays

Girls Only Elementary - U8 U9 & U11

Boys Only Elementary - U8 U9 & U11

Girls Only Middle School - U11, U13, U15

Boys Only Middle School - U11, U13, U15

Mixed Coed 4x400m Relays

CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN 2 BOYS...1 Boy/3 Girls or 2 Boys/2 Girls
